Homeschool Organization ~ Help To Get You Started!

Homeschool Organization - Help to Get you Started

I have just finished watching Kristie Clovers The Ultimate Homeschool Organization eCourse and after homeschooling for almost 10 years, and trying every.method.of.planning.available, I actually learned a ton of new ideas from her course! Kristie is very engaging and lively, she speaks in a way that makes you want to meet her. Or go straight to her house and talk for hours about planning :). And look through her wonderful shelves while you are there………..oh the joy of books!

Anywho, in her ecourse, she provides videos, printables, lists, links, tips…..just so much great stuff that helps you plan your entire year from start to finish. When I say start to finish, I mean from the time you start purchasing curriculum and setting up folders to the time work is completed and filed away for storage. She doesn’t just show you how to fill out a planner and file your child’s papers in a crate by week. She truly goes through a method that sets you up for the entire year that is easy to follow, easy to set up, easy to clean up, easy for the kids to keep up with (and to me that’s a double bonus!).

The Ultimate Homeschool Organization eCourse has sections in these areas:

  • Prepping & Planning
  • Organizing with Systems
  • Nuts & bolts

Within each of these sections are more sections with lots of videos, printables and tips. Some examples of the printables include:

  • Course of Study
  • Weekly Checklist that’s EDITABLE
  • Workbox Cards (completed & blank)
  • Reading List
  • Several types of planners

In her ecourse, Kristie provides some great tips that I plan on using in my homeschool this year. I have 4 boys that range in age from 5 – 15, so I will use the workbox system for my two younger ones and the older ones will keep their books on the shelves. I have used workboxes before and like the idea of them, but for some reason they haven’t always worked for us. Kristie has some great tips that I haven’t heard before, so I am going to give them another try to see if I can make them work this year.

I really really really, like her crate system! I am going to use this with all 4 of my boys. I have to admit that I am a bit nervous about tearing apart all of our workbooks, but the end result will be totally worth it. Did I mention that I really like her crate system?

Something else that I especially took away from this ecourse was how she uses her printables. You have probably seen these printables a thousand times over on Pinterest, other homeschool blogs, from other moms and wonder what makes them different in this ecourse. Well, it’s all in how Kristie uses these printables that makes them different. The printables are great and an added bonus to the ecourse, but the tips that she gives on how to use them are what makes them invaluable to planning. I will definitely be adding her yearly calendar, weekly checklist and course of study printables to my homeschool planner. Her methods are simple, very effective and will have you shaking your head in wonder, “Why didn’t I think of that?”.

The ecourse also offers tips for homeschooling with little ones, how to organize your books and shelves, ideas for storing things whether your house is big or small, or you have a school room or not. She offers ideas for motivating your kids and planning for fun as well as providing a master list of supplies and printables used in the videos.

So, my overall recommendation for The Ultimate Homeschool Organization eCourse, is yes! Definitely check it out, it is totally worth the cost and right now she has it on sale. But you need to hurry, the sale ends soon!!

AND as an added bonus to the ecourse, she includes her ebook in the course – Sanity Savers for Mom: 7 Simple Solutions for A More Joy-Filled Life
